‘What We Carry’ project at Palliative Care Conference in Brighton
'What We Carry: Living With Pain' was showcased at the Palliative Care Conference and was warmly received by participants, generating positive feedback and discussion.
Our project artist, Marysa Dowling, recently attended a palliative care conference in Brighton, where they presented and displayed What We Carry, our Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement (PPIE) project.
The conference brought together healthcare professionals, researchers, patients, carers and community partners to share knowledge and explore innovative approaches to palliative and end-of-life care. As part of the event, What We Carry was exhibited to delegates, offering an opportunity to reflect on the personal experiences, stories and perspectives that have shaped the project.
The display generated interest and discussion among attendees, highlighting the value of creative approaches to engagement and the importance of involving patients and the public in research and conversations about care.
