‘What We Carry: Living with Pain’
Celebratory launch of our PPIE pain project, 'What We Carry: Living with Pain'
On Monday, 14th September 2026, we celebrated the launch of our ‘What We Carry: Living with Pain’ PPIE artistic project at the Life and Mind Building in Oxford. We heard short presentations about the project from Ben Seymour and project artist Marysa Dowling, followed by a fascinating and thought-provoking Q&A with one of our project participants, Donna.
It was a wonderful opportunity to bring together research, art and lived experience to explore the realities of living with pain.
Thank you to everyone that attended!
